RoofClaim.com sponsored the March 10th, 2020 spring training game between the Detroit Tigers, and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The game was hosted by the Tigers at their Spring Training facility, Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL. The company had staff on site interacting with fans and handing out RoofClaim.com sunglasses. It was a beautiful day for a ball game, and the fans were energetic and excited to see their teams play.
Before the start of the game, RoofClaim.com was provided the opportunity to throw out the first pitch as part of the sponsorship. David Dickerson, VP of the Shingle Division took the mound, and threw the pitch down the center of the plate. Along with RoofClaim.com, the Tigers also invited a Verteran to throw out a pitch as a thank you for his service, and to celebrate the Veteran turning 100 years old.
The game was exciting to watch with three Detroit Tigers hitting home runs. C.J. Cron hit the first home run in the second inning followed by Jaimer Candelario, and then in the third inning Cameron Maybin. The Tigers went on to defeat the Pirates in a 4-1 victory.
